Spring Break 2011

I would love it if I could get the hang of blogging. Doesn't help that all the instructions come up in German! I wish I could speak German. Over spring break we took a trip to Italy. Traffic is insane and I have the damage to my car to prove it and we weren't even driving! On day one and day two someone was kind enough to remove paint from my car and didn't leave a note or anything. By day 3 we were hoping it wasn't a trend. Other than that we loved Italy. We were lucky and had wonderful weather. We only had one day in Florence and it is not a one day trip. I would recommend 3 days. Too much to see and do.

After much dashing about from Anchorage to Chicago, on to Missouri to Oklahoma and back up to Chicago, moving on to Vegas, Phoenix, back to Vegas, up to SLC and back down to Vegas. Can I stop now? Moving on today to Kingman, Arizona. Did I mention we left June 23 to go to Anchorage? Maybe things will slow down now.... nah!

The snow has melted again and we are looking forward to spring. Mark and I have signed up for the Lose to Win program on the base. We started the year out with a whole new attitude about working out and weight loss. Time to get serious. I have discovered Aqua Jogging and it is AWESOME. You are in the deep end of the pool and wear a floatation device around your waist and jog back and forth in the pool. There are many different movements you can do to work different muscles. I will eventually use something for more resistance in the water but for now I am getting a great workout! So far Mark has lost over 10 pounds and I am at about 5 pounds. So far so good taking baby steps.

I am so slow at discovering 'new' technology. I am going to try to learn how to be a blogger. Maybe even manage to create a decorative space. It is all a journey.

The boys are at High Adventure and you would think we would have a quiet week. Nope! Miss K is keeping me busy. She is trying a soccer clinic this week. She was sure it wouldn't like it as much as baseball. Suprise!!!
